the governors expect to see in round two of the obama administration. wisconsin's governor scott walker joins us. good evening pgood morning. >> good evening, greta. >> greta: first your thoughts on the inaugural address today? >> days like this are always uplifting, but the rubber hits the road the next couple of days and i think with the 30 states that have republican governors, we're hoping we have a president that's willing to work with the states and give us some authority to act on behalf of the taxpayers. if we can do that, we will have some good progress, but ultimately it's got to be about growth and getting people back to work and the best way to do that is through limited government and putting more money back in the hands of the american taxpayers. >> specifically, what would you like to see him do? >> well, i think a number is one, if we talk about things simple as medicaid and other issues that come up in the budget over and over again, empower states, democrat and republican governors alike, empower governors to go out and make decisions on state by state basis not one size fits a
for 2012 when it comes in and i bet you it it goes up in 2013. the obama administration and the democrats, they're so happy and gloating about smacking those tax rates on the rich and there's this new assumption, this politically correct assumption that you know what? you rich people, you're going to bend over and take that spanking because we raised rates on you so there. when you soak the rich, the rich start packing and they'll go elsewhere. and golfer, phil mickleson might do that. >> the former president of france is also, he's going to london he says or the u.k., because he wants to develop his business opportunity, but he's also got a few little legal problems that many suspect that he's trying to avoid, allegations of corruption and fraud, so that might have a dual purpose if indeed he goes to london. >> that's true, but that 75% marginal tax rates on all earnings over a million dollars that france wants to slap on the rich. that had to be a factor as well. i mean, when you do that, look at phil mickleson, with the california raising its tax on the rich by 30%, to 13.3% in additio
. neither the bush administration nor the obama administration has wanted to confront the scale of international terrorism and the scale of the fanaticism which is driving it you could argue that obama is worse, but the elites in both parties are trying to find some way to get it down to being a manageable problem. it's a big problem. and frankly, nobody in the u.s. is covering the problems in pakistan, which are very real. pakistan is probably building more nuclear weapons right now than any other countries in the world. we talk about an iranian bomb maybe in the the near future. i think there are whoever a hundred pakistani nuclear weapons and it's a very fragile country with very, very deep problems. afghanistan is decaying, it's not getting better. iraq is decaying, the amount of violence in iraq has gone up dramatically and syria is a mess. and bahrain has a serious problem and yemen is a mess. somalia is a mess. you start looking around and begin to realize there's a much more dangerous world out there than president obama's inaugural address or secretary clinton's testimo
